Barcelona Football Shirts
Barcelona Football shirts have been worn by some of the most famous players in the world all throughout the FC Barcelona history. The timeless style of the FC Barcelona jersey is immediately recognisable with the red and blue striped shirt synonomus with the club and a certain ethos that has been nurtured over the years of Catalan tradition. All this borne out of a club started by an advert in the local newspaper.
The FC Barcelona players this year will be wearing a Barcelona home shirt with a wide stripe almost half and half on the home shirt. The shirt will once again display the Unicef logo across the chest along with the legendary club crest. Lets hope this year that the players do this great shirt justice by performing at a higher level than last season.
This year the
Barcelona away shirt
is flourescent yellow with red and blue vertical strips falling down under the Barcelona logo. Both kits are now available at kitbag but there are also some great bargains on last years kits especially

Retro Barcelona Football Shirts
There are some classic Barca football shirts from the past era. My particular favourite is the
1970 Johan Cruyff replica shirt
which will bring back memories of Barcelona’s first La Liga win in 14 years.
Another Barcelona retro shirt is the slightly less attractive yellow version of the Cruyff shirt. Looking at this shirt it easy to see where the design of the new away shirt comes from. Thankfully the current away Barca football shirt is a more attractive design.
Barcelona Football Stadium
The famous Camp Nou with a capacity of 98,772 is one of the most famous stadiums on the planet. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the stadium Barcelona released a
special 50th anniversary turquoise 3rd shirt
which has been extremely popular for both kids and adults. Those who bought this shirt last year will be pleased to know that Barcelona FC will be wearing this shirt again this year.
The stadium itself is impressive but from the exterior it does not look high as the pitch is below street level. It is only when you get inside the stadium that you realise the vastness of the tiers and the experience that would come from watch a La Liga match from the top tier.
Recently Barca have undertaken the tender process to modernise the stadium at a cost of 250 million Euros. This will add 10,000 seats to the capacity and put 50% of the seating under cover.
The tender was won by British architect Norman Foster and is designed to be very visible in an urban environment as you can see from the model here.
The stadium also houses the Barcelona football club museum where you can see previous Barcelona football shirts. This is the most visited museum in Catalonia which just shows the reverence the club is held in around the world. A visit to the museum is a must if you love your football and would like to see what the stadium is like from the inside. For a more atmospheric experience there is every possibility that you will be able to get hold of a Barcelona football club ticket at the ground. This should be available for almost any La Liga match with the exception of the Real Madrid El Classico match.
