Club History
The San Luis football club were formed in the 1999 season. Since the inception of the club the fans have been loyal as the club has been one of the yo-yo teams of Mexican football. San Luis is also known for their fans support, La Guerrilla. La Guerrilla is San Luis' official Cheering squad or barra (in Spanish) which is one of the most loyal barras in Mexico, supporting the Club in any division they play in.
The club was transformed in 2001 when it was bought by Telivisa and transformed into a minor league affiliate for its first division team, América.
