West Brom Football Club Shirts
After promotion to the Premier League West Brom Football Club fans will be looking forward to the rewards of playing against some of the best teams in world football. It will no doubt be a difficult season but if anyone can motivate his players and keep true to his principles of playing good football it is Tony Mowbray.
The current West Brom Football Club home shirt is the traditional Black and white stripes with a WBA club crest along side the sponsors name , T-Mobile.
Unfortunately the new shirt for the 2008/9 Premier league season has not been released yet due to the fact the West Brom do not have sponsor since T Mobile decided not to renew the sponsorship. Rumour has it that the new WBA kit will be manufactured by Umbro but we will let you know as soon as we find out for definite.
Rumour also has it that the new West Brom shirts will look like the pictures here but we will bring you more information as we get it and tell you where it is available.
West Brom Retro Shirts
There is a great selection of West Brom Retro tops that will bring memories flooding back for the fans. My personal favourite is the 1968 Cup Final top as worn by Jeff Astle who scored the winner in extra time. There are also cracking
West Brom shirts from the 50’s to the 80’s
at Toffs.com.
The Stadium
The Baggies play their home games at The Hawthorns and have played there since 1900 when they moved from Stoney Lane. The ground is currently the highest in the football league and holds a maximum capacity of 28,003.
There should be no problem filling the ground this season as West Brom return to the top league in English football under the stewardship of Tony Mowbray.
A Great Gift For All West Brom Fans
The West Brom Football Newspaper Book.
Relive those glorious moments of your favourite team captured in newsprint written by the reporters of that particular era. This is a great way to give a gift to a life long West Brom fan.
The book starts with newspaper clippings from 1907 with coverage of West Brom’s FA Cup semi-final win over Everton, culminating in last years efforts to win the Championship
Another great gift for Baggies fans is the
1968 Cup Final DVD.
Relive the Feat of Jeff Astle scoring in every round of the Cup in the defeat of Everton.
